Crock Pot Corn

Crock Pot Corn

 

40 ounces Frozen corn

2 sticks of butter

16 ounces cream cheese

4 Tablespoons sugar

12 Tablespoons water

 

Melt butter and cream cheese on low heat.  Add other ingredients.  Place in crockpot on low for 4 hours stirring occasionally.

Never tried using cream cheese in a corn dish. I may have to try this. Corn is something that everyone in my family likes, so I have a feeling that this will be well received.

Can you do it with cRoN on the cob? I mean as fR as removing from the cob..t's only May, but we're already getting it in.... It's got to be better than frozen

I have never tried it with corn that's not frozen.  You'd definitely want to reduce the cooking time if you went that route?!  Let me know if it works...

Updated for a little more clarity....

Crock Pot Corn

40 ounces Frozen corn

4 Tablespoons sugar
12 Tablespoons water

Melt butter and cream cheese on low to medium heat on stovetop. Stir this mixture and the other ingredients in your crockpot. Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours stirring occasionally.
