I made this press a few years ago. Its cherry is still intact. I need to sell it. I am not sure how much interest there is in my area for a cider press. Any idea on an appropriate value so I can get rid of it without giving it away? The only thing needed is a bottle jack.Marmot

Looks like a nice job.Compare it to what you can buy new:https://www.williamsbrewing.com/FRUIT_PRESSES_C173.cfmI would say say ask for $150, take $100.

I have it for $75 on Craigslist. I would like to list it for $100, but I don't think I would have any takers. Craigslist hasn't gained a lot of momentum in my locale. It is becoming more popular, but it has a long ways to go to become mainstream like it has in many areas. I also posted it on a local brew club's Yahoo page. I am hoping they consider my press as club/group buy. I would happily sell it to them for $75.I have a bunch of stuff listed on Craigslist right now. The Nigerian scammers aren't even interested in my stuff. It is deer season, so possibly that is part of the reason I haven't had any hits on some of the stuff I have listed. Thanks for the input on pricing.Marmot
